The CHOKE team comes together with backgrounds in documentary film, journalism, theater, and stunt work. Our experiences - whether organizing protests against the Iraq War in high school, or feeling helpless in the face of police profiling/brutality in everyday interactions naturally push us to use art as a way to not only document the issues we see around us, but to use documentary as a force for education and change.
