The Video Essay site explores the use of video essays as pedagogical, teaching tools. As well, it can be used as a guide to create low-budget personal video essays and stories. This project was conceived by Cecily Tyler along with a group of scholars affiliated with Harvard University.
Please note: some of the documents are translated into Ukrainian.

DaVinci Editing Tutorials

Bohdana Smyrnova

These tutorials, recorded in Ukrainian, offer a step-by-step guide to importing, editing, and exporting videos using DaVinci Resolve, a free editing software. The project was a collaboration between Docutribe and Film Director Bohdana Smyrnova, originally created for journalism students at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University in Ukraine.
