Our Work
Storytelling to Ignite Learning
Docutribe at the XVII International Scientific Conference, 2024
Digital storytelling offers an engaging way to address these challenges while developing skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, empathy, active listening, and collaboration.
Storytelling has long been a powerful way to communicate, preserve knowledge, and connect people. In today’s classrooms, educators face new challenges in engaging students amid digital media, smartphones, the effects of COVID-19, and the realities of wartime education in countries such as Ukraine.
The Conference
These ideas were presented at the XVII International Scientific Conference, “Navigating Linguistics: Translation, Terminology, Education.” The presentation explored storytelling as a teaching methodology and digital filmmaking as an immersive framework for learning.
Docutribe’s contribution
Docutribe’s educational work demonstrates how filmmaking can turn storytelling into a hands-on learning experience. Through documentary filmmaking, students develop creative, communication, and critical-thinking skills while exploring real-world issues, finding their voices, and engaging with their communities.
