Tetiana Budzhak is a final-year Translation Studies student at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, currently graduating, and a three-time recipient of the Scholarship of the President of Ukraine (2024, 2025, 2026). Growing up in the family of two biologists didn't go unnoticed – she is also completing a degree in Biology, combining her two big passions: languages and science.
Having an experience of interpreting a filmmaking course and interviews, translating poetry, and creating subtitles for audiovisual content, Tania believes that translation is an extremely powerful tool used to build bridges between different cultures and communities and must be used with precision and care. Which is why no matter what type of text she is working on, she enjoys finding the right words to make stories and knowledge accessible to new audiences. Outside of her studies, Tania expresses herself through ballroom dancing and playing the piano.
