Victoriia Petruk is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Linguistics and Translation at Chernivtsi National University. From a young age, she has been captivated by the magic of art in its many forms, including the intricate craft of translation. With a strong command of language and visual storytelling, Victoriia brings narratives to life on screen, ensuring their universal appeal through translation, subtitling, and voice-over work. Her short film, “Mavka,” was created as part of Docutribe’s first filmmaking course at Chernivtsi National University.

Victoriia has played a central role in Docutribe’s filmmaking and storytelling courses in Ukraine, serving as a chief translator, class facilitator, and mentor. A skilled leader and educator, she has not only helped develop Docutribe’s pedagogy but has also adapted and implemented it for diverse audiences in Ukraine.
