Hello! My name is Bohdana Danko, I am 20 years old. I am a third-year student at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. I am studying Journalism and Cross-Media.

In addition to studying, I like to run my Instagram, where I experiment with visual content, create minimalist photos and videos, and research digital storytelling trends. I believe that visual communication is one of the most powerful tools of influence today, and I want to learn how to use it even more effectively.

From this course, I expect not only new knowledge, but also practical experience in the field of film production. I am especially interested in editing skills, filming, and working in documentary film. I hope that this course will help me to better understand the power of storytelling and learn how to create stories that can really change society.

Окрім навчання, мені подобається вести свій Instagram, де експериментую з візуальним контентом, створюю мінімалістичні фото та відео, досліджую тренди цифрового сторітелінгу. Вірю, що візуальна комунікація сьогодні є одним із найпотужніших інструментів впливу, і хочу навчитися використовувати її ще ефективніше.

Від цього курсу очікую не лише нових знань, а й практичного досвіду у сфері кіновиробництва. Особливо цікавлять навички монтажу, зйомки та робота у документальному кіно. My name is Liliia Horbatiuk , and I am 22 years old. I am studying at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, majoring in Journalism at the Faculty of Philology. I have always been passionate about photography, videography, and photo editing. Additionally, I want to learn professional video editing to enhance my skills. I also love public speaking and strive to develop myself in this area.

I have worked as a journalist at the С4 TV channel in Chernivtsi, which allowed me to improve my skills and gain valuable experience. In the future, I dream of becoming a news anchor, working professionally with video, and creating high-quality content. I want to get the most out of this course in terms of knowledge and experience because it is an important step toward achieving my dream.

Mariia Tytor / Марія Титор

I am Mariia Tytor, 19 years old, originally from the village of Roztoky in the Zakarpattia region. My mother is a Ukrainian language and literature teacher, and my father is a furniture salesman. I have always wanted to do what truly inspires me. At first, I wrote poetry, then I started creating fictional interviews. These may seem like small things, but they ultimately led me to enroll at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, specifically in the Department of Journalism.

I chose this university because, out of all the options I considered, it drew me in the most—though I still can’t quite explain why. Here, I not only discovered my passion for analytical writing and video editing but also developed myself in ways I never could have in any other city.

Currently, I volunteer with AIESEC, an international youth volunteer organization, where I work in the field of international internship sales. Additionally, I am starting a job at Suspilne Chernivtsi, where I edit news segments. In the past, I worked as a journalist for the online media outlet Shpalta.

This is my first time writing an autobiography, and I take pride in it because it became possible thanks to my first bold decision—to move far from home for my studies. Chernivtsi has become my second home, and I am certain: my story here is only just beginning.

Hi! I'm Milana, I'm 19 years old and I'm a 3rd year student at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, majoring in Journalism and Cross-Media. I love literature and everything related to it. I like to read books of different genres. I'm also interested in gender equality and would like to use this knowledge in my future specialty. I joined the project to improve my teamwork skills, get out of my comfort zone and improve communication, understand the basics of documentary filmmaking, and learn how to work on and off camera.

Я люблю літературу та все що з нею пов'язано. Мені подобається читати різножанрові книги. Також цікавлюсь темою гендерної рівності та хотіла б використовувати ці знання у майбутній спеціальності. Приєдналась до проєкту, щоб удосконалити свої навички роботи в команді, вийти з зони комфорту та покращити комунікацію, зрозуміти основи документального кіно та навчитись працювати у кадрі та поза кадром.
