Here are those skills which are expected from this course: acquiring language skills, public speaking, leadership, teamwork and filmography. I strongly believe that this course will provide me with such a valuable experience and a long-lasting impression.
anna karancheva / анна каранчева
As a Ukrainian, I understand the value of language as well as the impact it has on our lives and our perception of the world. I became a translator in pursuit of building new connections and with desire to make a difference.
Being born in Mariupol myself, I’m infinitely grateful to be the part of this project as it tells the stories of my nation to the world. Me — I’m just a part of a bridge that connects people who speak same facts but in different languages. I’m thankful to docutribe for unveiling the truth and bringing to light what’s really important.
denys serdiuk / денис сердюк
I've always been fascinated with the art of filmmaking, especially curious about what happens behind the scenes that makes a film work. It's an honor for me to be able to help out in this project, learning about both translation and movie magic.
diana hriaban / діана грябан
My name is Diana Hriaban. I am twenty-one years old and this is the first time I have participated in a project of this type. I study at the Faculty of Linguistics and Translation from English into Ukrainian. Learning languages has always been a challenge for me, but thanks to the help of my teachers at the university and my hard work, I was able to overcome my internal barriers and now I help others learn English.
I am grateful to this project for giving me the opportunity to help others and meet wonderful people.
halyna khreptiuk / галина хрептюк
I am currently a third-year student at the Department of Philology (Specialty 035 Philology, Specialization 035.041 Germanic Languages and Literatures (including Translation), first language – English, second language – French).
I am passionate about two things in life: translation and modeling. I truly enjoy translating, and it has been a pleasure for me to work on translating the lectures during this course. It was not only a great practice but also a valuable experience.
At the same time, I am pursuing a career in modeling, having participated in numerous castings and photoshoots. I love modeling, and it remains one of my biggest dreams. I am always looking for new opportunities to grow in this field.
oksana hrytsiuk / оксана грицюк
Oksana Hrytsiuk – a student at the Department of Linguistics and Translation, specialising in English-Ukrainian translation – took part in Docutribe’s film project as an interpreter, with a focus on audiovisual translation and intercultural communication. Passionate about making global stories accessible through language and media.
tetiana budzhak / тетяна буджак
Tetiana Budzhak is a junior-year translation student at Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University. Tania considers herself to be such an avid student that this passion granted her a Scholarship of The President of Ukraine not once, but twice (2024, 2025). Growing up in the family of two biologists didn't go unnoticed - she's also pursuing her biology degree as a part-time student of Institute of Biology, Chemistry, and Bioresources of the same university. Tania dreams of translating some biology textbooks into Ukrainian, thus wanting to make the study process for people interested in biology easier. Still, she doesn't limit herself with scientific translation only - be it a filmmaking course or fiction - she'll gladly take it.
When Tania is not preoccupied with her numerous studies, she loves reading STEMinist novels, playing the piano, and ballroom dancing. She tends to think she's quite good at the latter - she is a crowned two-time Ukrainian Champion in Solo Standard (2025).
